Recipie!

I'm back after this long time, I'll rather start by giving a recipie:


Chicken Biriyani  for two people (an easy and tasty way)


INGREDIENTS

Basmati Rice                  1/2kg
Chicken pieces               1/4 kg
Tomato(for purying)       2
Ginger                             a small piece
Garlic                              8 peices
Cumin powder                1/4 teaspoon
Turmeric powder           1/4 teaspoon
Red chilli powder          1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
Curd                              2 tbsp
Onion                            3 
Cloves 
Cinnamon
Green chilli                   1
Salt
Oil
Ghee
Cashews
Raisins
Water (Double the quantity of rice)
 


Clean the Chicken pieces and marinate it with tomato puree, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, Red chilli powder, Turmeric powder, Garam masala powder and some curd for atleast 30 minutes.

Fry Half of the cut onions till the colour changes to golden brown, and add the chicken and cook it. The water in the chicken should be completely dried. Keep it aside.

Wash the rice and keep it aside. Boil enough quantity of water require for the rice to cook.
Fry the rest of the onions in coconut oil (any oil) till it turns to golden brown. Then add 2 or 3 cloves, cinammon and a  green chilli to this and keep stirring.
Add the washed rice and stir it for 1 minute. Then add the boiling water into it. Close the pan. Add salt to rice when its half way to boiling.

After the rice is cooked, add some lemon juice into it(only if you need). Add the cooked chicken into this and stir well.

Fry cashew and raisins in ghee and add it to the rice.
Your chicken biriyani is ready to eat!    :)
