Putting an end to the waiting period, Maruti Suzuki Swift have been released in India with new changes. The Maruti Suzuki Swift has evolved with new features and makeovers.  Built on a completely new platform, the new Swift is longer, wider and lighter than its predecessor.


With best in class acceleration, high power to weight ratio and improved fuel efficiency, the new Swift sets several new benchmarks. Though the exterior changes are minimal, the interiors are well built.







All-new lighter, longer and more spacious Swift is launched promising better dynamics, increased performance and improved CO2 emissions and economy.

The Swift’s all-new platform increases the wheelbase by 50mm and the overall length by 90mm. Extensive use of higher strength steel has made the new bodyshell lighter and stiffer than before as well as offering refinement in underbody design. The front and rear tracks are 10mm and 5mm wider respectively.

The interiors of new swift are well built. It is moreover classy and simple. The seats come with good support, better legroom and shoulder room. All the three trims are ready with 3-spoke steering wheel.

MNP (Mobile number portability)

Good news! Now we can retain our favourite mobile number even by changing the service providers.  Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has announced that Mobile Number Portability will be implemented nationwide from october 10 this year without any delay! Mobile service providers -- Bharti Airtel , Reliance , Vodafone Essar , Tata Tele , Idea , STel and Aircel -- are getting ready to launch high-speed 3G services from next month.  Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited have said they are ready with the infrastructure to implement the MNP service.
